DSH Technologies can increase your MIM product output, ask us how.
We can provide research and development services as well as being your source
for extra sintering capacity. Well equipped with two Elnik MIM 3000
furnaces and a metallography lab with carbon and oxygen analysis in house to
compliment the experience in binder systems and metal injection molded
product techniques, DSH is ready to tackle any of your needs. From
finding that added material property for a specific application to providing
additional sintering capacity, we can be your partner for growth and
prosperity. DSH also specializes in process optimization to help you
cut unnecessary time and effort from your processes.
We are often asked how we
can provide these services and why. Our sister company, Elnik Systems,
manufactures furnaces specially designed to efficiently thermally debind and
sinter any commercially available feedstock on the market. We at DSH
have learned to optimize the ability of these furnaces and the use of partial
pressure atmosphere not only to improve times and efficiency, but also to
improve various product characteristics. Having a background in
feedstock development and specializing in binder removal and sintering, our
staff can support your growing needs. With the ability to characterize
microstructure and obtain density, carbon and oxygen content data in house we
have the talent and equipment to increase your efficiency and production
yields as well as help you overcome the difficulties found with unique alloy
and binder development. We strive to make your products better and you
more efficient.
For production needs DSH
operates an Elnik MIM 3045. This furnace provides 3,840 square inches of load
space (2.48 sq. m) with 1 1⁄2” (38 mm) shelf spacing. Six zones
of temperature control and atmosphere flexibility make this workhorse furnace
perfectly suited to high dimensional precision parts made in nearly any metal
injection molded alloy with any commercial binder system on the market
today. The production capacity can nearly be doubled to about 6,900
square inches (4.45 sq. m) via creative stacking for certain part
geometry. This furnace produces parts on a weekly and monthly basis for
some customers. We will quote the use of this furnace for one time use
as well as for continuing production on a monthly or annual basis.
For research and
development needs DSH utilizes an Elnik MIM 3002. This furnace utilizes
1,848 square inches of load space (1.19 sq. m) with 1 1⁄2” (38 mm)
shelf spacing. With atmospheres including partial pressure nitrogen,
argon, air, hydrogen, and mixed gases as well as high vacuum this furnace is
well equipped for product development and feedstock work as well as process
time improvement and nearly any other debinding or sintering developmental
work. This furnace is used regularly for binder/alloy development,
process development, proof of concept research, and process optimization.
DSH can also, on a part
by part basis, provide cycle shortening and improvement techniques to give
our customers the most processing for their time and money. This
specialized service is unique to the sintering industry as it lets our
customers prove cycles to obtain carbon levels and densities as well as
material properties in versatile equipment before bringing the process in
house tying up valuable production time and resources.
DSH Technologies can
assist you by providing toll sintering capacity solutions
as well as processing solutions and improvements for nearly any
part configuration. Please feel free to contact me with any
questions or comments you may have and look for our updates on our
new web site at www.dshtech.com. If you would like
