When Claus Joens became involved in
manufacturing furnaces for metal injection molding (MIM) in 1996 at Elnik
Systems he soon realized that he needed to listen to the needs of his
customers. This led to research work in the field of MIM.
In 2000 he spun off this arm of the Elnik systems into a
separate company, DSH Technologies, LLC which still maintains his
original philosophy of listening to the customer.
Today
the facilities and operations at DSH Technologies, LLC (DSH) offer the most
technologically advanced and innovative industrial facilities available for
those wishing to enter the metal injection molding (MIM) industry.
DSH is a research facility
providing debinding, sintering, heat treatment and research and development
services. Our company utilizes two
Elnik MIM 3045 industrial furnaces for debinding and sintering. These furnaces allow wide flexibility in
sintering profiles to best support customers’ criteria and to
take advantage of the wealth of materials available to the MIM process.
Because these furnaces are full-scale production furnaces, scaling
up to production is a matter of adjusting to a full load in the furnace.
To help with this, DSH offers consulting services on all aspects of the MIM process.
At DSH, we strongly believe that a favorable solution consists of
perfecting actual prototype parts you, the customer, can use and validating
the process before you invest in capital equipment for MIM
production.
